This paper was written for a Spanish composition course. The assignment was to write a one page paper describing a location. I chose to describe the day I visited San Juan, Puerto Rico with my family. It shows my ability to write proficiently in another language.

This poem was written for a Dia de los Muertos party that one of my professors hosted. Students were then asked to read them during the celebration. La Muerte no es Fuerte demonstrates my comprehension of Spanish language and Hispanic culture.

This Spanish recipe was written for a Spanish literature class that I took. Students were asked to chose a topic and write a magazine article about it. I decided to focus on food because I wanted to learn more about traditional Spanish dishes. I chose sopaipillas because the history behind them fascinated me. Una receta chilena shows my ability to research a topic and write an interesting article about it.
